As a Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician, you will provide integrated mental health care to adults in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across Virginia. You will lead a team of mental health providers, collaborate with psychotherapists, and enjoy the flexibility of practicing psychiatry based on patient needs without the constraints of traditional outpatient settings. Integrated model of care to adults who reside in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Locations available from Roanoke to Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Join a vibrant, provider-led, rewarding practice as a supervising psychiatrist.
- Be a member of a tightly integrated team of primary care and mental health providers that delivers care to patients in long term care settings.
- Provide much-needed service to a vulnerable population in the integrated and comprehensive model that psychiatrists are trying to achieve.
- Enjoy leadership and teaching opportunities as you lead a team of midlevel providers and collaborate with psychotherapists in implementing best practices.
- Free yourself from having to work behind a desk and the ticking clock of outpatient practice and enjoy the freedom to practice psychiatry based on patient needs and your clinical judgement, delivering care to patients where they live.
- 18-22 patient patients per day (20 patients per day = about $295,000)

- Unlimited PTO: 4% of salary is set aside and cane be used toward PTO or can be kept.
