We are looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon to start ASAP for 6 months+. This is a locum tenens position in California where you must have a valid California license and be board certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. The position is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with intermittent call. You will be performing general orthopedic surgery cases, averaging 18 patients per day. You will also perform in-office procedures such as incision and drainage and joint injections. You will be clinically supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) if needed. You must be available to work a minimum of 1-2 weeks per month. The facility is an outpatient health center.
Description/Requirements for Assignment :
California license required
Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
Starting January 2025 and ongoing
Monday-Friday - 8am-5pm + intermittent call (schedule TBD)
General Orthopedic Surgery cases
Averaging 18 patients per day
Perform in-office procedures such as incision and drainage, joint injections
Clinically supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) if needed
Seeking minimum of 1-2+ weeks per month
