Ongoing Gastroenterology need in Southern Ohio
- 2-4 weeks per month
- Either 1 FTE or 2 physicians rotating 2 weeks per month
- M-F 7:30am-3:15pm
- Weeknight 7p-7a and 24 HR weekend call with rounding
- Call is low volume, for night call doc will only go in for impact or bleeding
- 12-15 procedures per day with 1-2 possible add ons
- Credentialing time: 2 weeks
- General GI
- EGD, EGD with banding, Foreign body & Dilations, Colonoscopies
- Support staff:
- 1 GI
- 2 CNP
- 2 LPN
- 4 MOA
- 2 Desk attendants
- 2 surgery schedulers
- Endo Staff:
- 1 FT
- Anesthesia team with Mac sedation
- 4 FT endo teams
- EMR and Equipment
- Meditech
- Olympus scopes and video
- New Provation Medical Documentation System

(electronic medical record, sends orders to office, post op notes dictated and printed, consults to other physicians - helps with coding and billing).
