An Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician is needed for ongoing coverage, providing both inpatient and outpatient care. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, surgical cases, and a variety of gynecological procedures while working alongside supporting staff. - Coverage Needed:
- November 3, 2024 - ongoing
- Clinic: 8am - 4:30pm, no evenings, no weekends
- Call: 24-hour call once week plus Weekend call - every 6th weekend (Friday 7am-Sunday 10 pm)
- Clinic and hospital location
- Clinical Information:
- Inpatient: Coverage of L&D, Surgical cases
- Outpatient: Mix of OB, Annuals, GYN problems, procedures
- Supporting staff: Triage nurse, 1 MA
- Schedule: Mix inpatient and outpatient
- Volume: approx 24 patients (clinic)
- Facility utilizes 20-minute appointment slots for all appt types. Can assume full schedule immediately
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Must be board certified or board eligible
- Procedures required: IUD, Nexplanon, Colposcopy, Endo biopsy
- Active PA License
