This position is for a board-certified pediatric infectious disease physician to provide coverage due to limited call availability from the sole full-time provider. The assignment is needed as soon as credentialing is completed (approximately 120 days) and will continue until a permanent hire is made. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with on-call coverage during evenings and weekends. The physician will manage up to four patients per day and handle 35 calls per weekend but will not perform specific procedures, respond to codes, or handle admissions. Documentation is done in EPIC, and anesthesia support is available if needed.
