Position Overview: Facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist to provide locum coverage. The position requires a full-time commitment with 7-day coverage stretches. The role includes daytime shifts on campus and home call overnight, with weekend home calls. The physician will handle a variety of procedures, excluding neuro IR.
Responsibilities: - Day Shifts: 8 AM - 5 PM on-campus, Monday to Friday
- Night Call: Home call overnight after 5 PM; may require coming in for emergent cases
- Weekend Call: Home call; can expect to perform some cases
- Average Procedures per Day: 10-15
- Required Procedures: Venous access, biopsies, TIPS, trauma, DVT/PE work (excluding neuro IR)
- Support Staff: 3 IR MDs, 2 APPs, US and CT procedure rooms, 2 angio suites
- EMR: Cerner
Qualifications: - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology (REQUIRED)
- Arizona License (REQUIRED) or IMLC with LOQ in hand
- Interventional Radiology Fellowship (REQUIRED)
- ACLS/DEA (REQUIRED)
- Clean Malpractice History (Preferred)
Credentialing Information: - Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
- Billing Enrollment: Not providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less.
