Pathologist Locums Job in New Mexico Starting March 1, 2025 and Ongoing
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a client in a large metro area in New Mexico seeking a skilled Pathologist to help with a department vacancy. This opportunity offers up to fulltime and a consistent schedule starting this March.
Coverage Needed:
- Looking for TWO full coverage Pathologists starting March 1, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with night call
- Rarely called in while on night call (if called in, response time is within 30 minutes)
Assignment Details/Requirements ():
-Active New Mexico Medical License or IMLC
-Board Certification required
-Site offers emergency privileges within 30 days
-Pathologists with experience in Surgical Pathology, Cytology, Hematology, Grossing, and Cutting Frozen Sections
-Site is open to Pathologists only experienced in Surgical Pathology too
-Pathologist will NOT be required to perform Autopsy services, Dermatopathology, Pediatric Path, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, or Blood Bank
-Pathology volume varies depending on the day and complexity of cases
-Four support staff providers
-Full service, multi-specialty 200+ bed hospital, EPIC EMR (potential to float to two other hospitals within the health system when needed)
