Our client, a diverse and community-centric organization, seeks an OB/GYN Hospitalist for in-house obstetrical physician coverage. They are looking for a physician dedicated to improving the health and wellness of families who reside on the West Side and Southwest Side of Chicago.
Hospital services include a Level II NICU, full-time anesthesia, and a dedicated OB emergency department. The hospital has one of the lowest c-section rates in Chicago and offers a full range of Maternal Fetal Medicine, educational, and support services.
Position Highlights:
- Work 6 to 8 shifts per month, month, in 24-hour or 12-hour shifts on labor and delivery
- The schedule would align with employed physicians shifts
- No call when not on shift
- Provides clinical supervision for the Certified Nurse Midwives and collaborates with Outpatient Clinic OB/GYN Providers and Laborists
- Manage unassigned patient admissions/deliveries and emergency department OB/GYN consultations
- Serve as first-assistant for surgical procedures, as needed
- Perform emergency room consults and emergent Gynecologic surgery as needed
- Support Midwife laborists, performing c-sections and managing high-risk patients
Salary/Benefits:
- Salary starts at $270,000 with hourly incentive pay for extra shifts

Job Requirements:
- Board certified OB/GYN, experience preferred
- ACLS, CPR, NRP Certifications
