An Occupational Medicine Physician is needed to provide primary and occupational healthcare in a multi-specialty clinic setting. The physician will work Monday through Friday, serving an average of 15 to 18 patients daily, primarily adults, with a small percentage of pediatric and geriatric patients. - Work Dates Needed: ASAP until a permanent candidate is hired and onboarded.
- Preferred Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (No weekends or holidays)
- Worksite Setting: Multi-specialty clinics
- Scope of Work: Providing primary care and occupational healthcare to PMR Healthcare's clients, their employees, and families. average daily census at the clinic consists of 80% adult patients, 5% pediatrics, and 15% geriatric patients. Typically, the clinic sees between 15 and 18 patients per day, with each physician seeing an average of 2 to 3 patients per hour. The clinic is supported by a staff comprising 1 medical assistant (MA) and 1 licensed practical nurse (LPN).
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:
- Current Idaho license with a clean malpractice history
- Clinician with 3+ years of experience
- Computer competency, including MS Office products.
- Experience with Athena EMR is a plus.
- Customer service oriented
- Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (all ages)
- Active ID License; IMLC Accepted
- BLS, ACLS, DEA, DOT, PALS (willing to license)
- EMR: Athena
