About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospitalist - Medical Director specializing in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to join our dynamic team in Fitchburg, WI. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Administration:

- Participate in performance evaluations, recruitment, and onboarding of hospitalist team members.
Clinical Duties:
- Provide inpatient care to a diverse patient population, including admissions, discharges, and consultations.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Lead daily rounds and address complex cases with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatment.
Quality Improvement:
- Drive initiatives aimed at reducing hospital-acquired conditions, readmissions, and length of stay.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Education and Mentorship:
- Mentor and support the professional development of hospitalist team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings and educational sessions to promote best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Licensure:
- Unrestricted Wisconsin medical license (or ability to obtain).
- Current DEA certification.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a hospitalist (preferred).
- Previous leadership or administrative experience is a plus.
Skills and Attributes:
