If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!As a Customer Service Representative in our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) department, you’ll be the first line of support for patients, clinics, doctors, and insurance companies, assisting them with medical billing questions and providing exceptional service every step of the way. Whether you’re answering phone calls, responding to emails, or working behind the scenes to solve billing issues, you’ll be making a direct impact on improving the patient experience and contributing to the smooth operation of our RCM team.
What You’ll Do:Customer Service Excellence (85%)
- Be the friendly voice patients and medical professionals trust for billing assistance, addressing inquiries from clinics, referring doctors, attorneys, insurance companies, and patients/responsible parties.
- Respond to voicemails, emails, and route calls and mail efficiently, ensuring the right team member follows up on any outstanding issues.
- Research Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and insurance denials to help explain balances to patients.
- Escalate complex inquiries to senior team members for resolution.
- Consistently meet or exceed our Quality Assurance standards while keeping the patient experience at the forefront of everything you do.
Administrative Support (10%)
- Update patient demographic information to ensure accurate billing details.
- Contact doctors, insurance companies, and patients to gather updated insurance or demographic data.
- Investigate missed discounts, duplicate charges, and insurance denials to correct accounts and resolve issues.
Additional Responsibilities (5%)
- Assist with other duties as needed, keeping things running smoothly and efficiently within the department.
What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Experience in healthcare
- Comfortable using computer systems, typing, and navigating Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Bonus: Ability to speak Spanish or other languages in addition to English.
