We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Sales & Distribution team in Cherrywood on. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining agency records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the agency administration processes within Aviva Insurance Ireland DAC.
The successful candidate will be liaising with various departments (Sales, Underwriting, Finance, IT, Compliance etc) , handling new applications, amendments, mergers, terminations, and commission changes. You will also handle the due diligence process for new broker/agent applications, including verifying documentation and ensuring compliance with Central Bank of Ireland requirements. If you have previous administration experience in an insurance or financial services organisation, have high attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills then this could be the role for you!
This role is based in our Dublin office and adheres to Aviva's hybrid working policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Agency Records Maintenance: Manage and update agency records, including new appointments, amendments, cancellations, mergers, and acquisitions.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company procedures, including the Consumer Protection Code and Central Bank of Ireland regulations.
Agency Amendments: Process amendments to agency details, including changes in ownership, address, or business structure/commission.
Commission Management: Administer standard and special commission procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with audit requirements.
Quality Assurance: Conduct peer reviews for agency setup, amendments, and commission certificates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Mandates and Transfers: Handle appointment and reporting mandates and manage the transfer of policies between brokers.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in insurance administration or financial services administration is required.
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Ability to work effectively as an individual and in a team environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
