About the team
Legal Team - US
As an in-house corporate legal team, we are primarily responsible for providing legal advice to various departments within GBG, providing guidance on how to comply with laws and regulations, drafting and negotiating contracts, mitigating legal risks, and supporting business operations by addressing legal issues that arise internally, often working closely with executives and other stakeholders to ensure the company acts legally and ethically. Responsibilities include contract review, compliance oversight, litigation support, and advising on business transactions like product launches.
The role
The Corporate Paralegal role assists the legal team by drafting and reviewing contracts, managing Internal Inquiries, conducting business and legal research, assisting with relevant team projects, and collaborating with various departments within the organization to provide comprehensive legal support. The paralegal focuses on legal matters related to the company's operations and business needs.
What you will do
Draft and review various commercial contracts with GBG's clients and strategic partners.
Assist In contract management and Implementation process
Assist In the customer onboarding process
Oversee legal team Internal Inquiries queue (Cases)
Assist with legal team projects
Work closely with business partners in Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Security, and other departments within GBG to successfully close transactions consistent with the company’s policies and best interests.
Provide other legal services to GBG as needed
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong preference for a combination of both private practice and in-house experience.
Proven ability to perform paralegal duties effectively in a dynamic corporate environment, adapting to evolving business needs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft, review, and communicate legal documents clearly and professionally.
Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making capabilities in handling legal matters.
Experience assessing legal risks and providing well-reasoned recommendations.
Proven ability to interface professionally with all levels of internal and external personnel, including senior executives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks and multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proactive, organized, and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks based on changing demands.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the tech sector.
Previous experience supporting an internal sales organization is highly desirable.
Confident, outgoing personality with a positive attitude and a collaborative approach.
