Responsibilities
The Ascension Employed Clinician Network (AECN) Chief Operating Officer/VP Operations provides the overall operational leadership for the Medical Group Enterprise across Ascension in order to provide the highest quality of care in alignment with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Accountable for optimizing Medical Group operational performance, physician alignment, patient experience, financial excellence and provider and associate engagement.
- Leads in partnership with Market Medical Group Leadership to execute Enterprise-wide strategies for clinical effectiveness and financial performance
- Provides collaborative leadership in the ongoing development, implementation, and management of AECN operations
- This job takes the future vision and builds the culture, processes, and operational excellence to support the vision while delivering exceptional results
- This role reports directly to the Executive Vice President Nursing & Operations and plays an integral role on the National landscape influencing and driving Medical Group strategic initiatives in alignment with Ascension's top priorities.

Requirements
Education:
- Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management.
