Details, Requirements, Benefits:
Night and weekend coverage for all admitted inpatients, both critical and non-critical.
The average patient load is between 2-5 patients. Average overnight admissions are 1.5 patients.
Applicants should be comfortable with the management of hospitalized pediatric and young adult patients, including the management of fluids, antibiotics, pain and sedation control, vasopressor medications, and basic stabilization of patients in shock or respiratory distress.
The applicant will have 24/7 access to a Pediatric Intensivist as backup, as well as a Trauma/Critical Care Burn Surgeon.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver preventive, acute, specialized, and primary care services.

NPs and PAs must have Acute Care experience and/or Acute Care certification. Physicians are willing to train to do Peds, but the acute care piece is crucial.
