The Data Compliance Technician is responsible for monitoring and working with departments verifying employee data is entered accurately, timely, and in compliance with civil service rules, policies, and procedures for all Human Resources processes. Performs related duties as required.

Generally, this position works a hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days virtual work.
Performs, monitors and reviews daily transactions made to HR related systems primarily using Oracle applications.
Collects and analyzes data to address benefits related issues within the department.
Reviews and contacts departments daily for any discrepancies on reports on reports or paperwork.
Acts as a liaison with other system entry and compliance staff.
Assist vendors/departments with insurance eligibility or gathering information regarding employee benefits.
Calculates arrears and refunds for insurance premiums.
Provides customer service to departments as well as outside vendors doing business with Metropolitan Government.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft products, MS Products and/or other HR related systems
Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
