Description
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to support the continued growth of the Building Code & Life Safety Services team. Our Code team provides technical consulting to jurisdictional clients across New York State, as well as provides guidance to design professionals. The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in our team's success, performing document control and interfacing with both our internal team and our clients.
Duties
Perform document control and data entry, including setup of digital plan reviews and management of working documents, records, and deliverables, including application and review intake, filing, and distribution
Coordination of review schedules during projects,
Coordination with clients on technical and project management related requests including agreements, insurance certifications and qualifications.
Work directly with contractors to schedule inspections,
Filing and distribution of inspections,
Setup of projects including project planners,
Support project and client manager(s) in the management and execution of specific projects,
Preparation of client specific marketing materials.
Requirements
Associate, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required,
Basic understanding of building construction and building codes,
Excellent written and spoken communications skills,
Proficiency in Microsoft suite, specifically Word, Excel
Organized and motivated.
Preferred Qualifications
Sit for extended periods of time
Use a computer and keyboard
Prior experience with Bluebeam Revu, OpenGov and/or Municity
Salary Range: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location
