SheerID is seeking a talented and highly creative copywriter to join our Brand & Content team! If you are a detail-oriented storyteller who has a flair for words, strong copywriting samples, and a solid background in Marketing, you might be our next Copywriter! As a member of the Brand & Content team, you will collaborate with teammates and Marketing colleagues to create strategic, compelling, and break-through short-form content. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter with a strong copywriting background and experience creating short pieces and concepts across all marketing channels and throughout the marketing funnel.
Role Specific Job Duties:
Create engaging, bite-size pieces of content throughout the marketing funnel and across all marketing channels including the website, blogs, email campaigns, digital ads, video scripts, social media, and beyond. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop useful, compelling, original on-brand, cross-channel copy. Work closely with designers to concept fresh ideas, closely aligning copy to design. Develop and maintain our brand voice. Work with Marketing colleagues (including growth, customer, and product marketing) and teammates to identify and fulfill content needs for all phases of the customer journey.Ideate and identify unique content opportunities to elevate our industry thought leadership through customer stories and employee spotlights. Provide research support for larger content projects and needs.Help develop and expand an editorial calendar.
Required Skills / Experience:
Applicants without a portfolio or examples will not be considered. 2-4 years of experience as a creative copywriter for SaaS/Martech/Adtech companies. A curious mind, that approaches challenges with a positive attitude and a can-do spirit.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where your work will have an impact.Strong knowledge of SEO best practices.Experience writing for different channels and stages of the customer journey and adapting individual pieces for a variety of channels/needs. Exceptionally creative copywriting, editorial, and proofing skills.Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working with designers to conceptualize ideas.Ability to write within a consistent brand tone and voice. Familiarity with style guides, and comfort writing using a style guide.A cross-functional mindset and experience collaborating across departments.Experience using Asana, WordPress, Marketo, Google Suite a plus.
