The Loom is a boutique private practice that was founded on the principle that healthy relationships and a sense of connection are the necessary foundation for building a happy, healthy life. We are a team of therapists and wellness practitioners, dedicated to supporting clients in managing the obstacles that interfere with their ability to nurture the most important thing in our lives—our connections. We know first and foremost that the strength and quality of the therapeutic alliance—the relationship between therapist and client—is the most important predictor of whether or not therapy will be successful. This is the lens through which we make all of our clinical recommendations, and influences every part of the work that we do.
We are entering an exciting time as we expand our services outside of individual and couples therapy to include workshops, groups, and events. We’re looking for an empathetic, mature, and passionate licensed therapist (LMSW/LCSW/LMFT) to join the team. The right candidate will embody our mission + vision and deeply understand the unique issues that our clients face in maintaining meaningful connections while living in New York City. This is a full-time position based on your caseload.
Why The Loom:
In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer bonus potential, performance based compensation increases, educational stipends, professional trainings, and regular supervision as well as access to the Founder and supervisor Doria Miller, LCSW. Please visit theloomwellness.com for further information on our approach, as well as background on Doria.
Internally, the practice upholds the same focus on relationships and aims to create a safe, inclusive, and fulfilling workplace.
