Job Description:
As a Full-Time Perioperative RN at Chattanooga Pain Center, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing various pain relieving surgical procedures. Working closely with our experienced surgical team, you will contribute to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients throughout the perioperative process.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the surgical team to plan and implement patient care during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, providing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with anesthesia administration.
- Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
- Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 3 years of perioperative, pre, postoperative or OR nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Longevity in past roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
