What You’ll be Doing
Looking to provide accurate financial journal entries and balance sheets for reporting and audit processes? Working with different teams across the organization, you'll support the financial management responsibilities of the company. You'll complete daily finance statement close process for one or more ledgers and help prepare journal entries, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and other responsibilities along the way. In doing so, you'll gain a great amount of exposure to financial areas within the organization, allowing you to develop professional skills and career growth.
You'll report to the Manager Accounting. You'll contribute to the success of the business by supporting the financial needs of the company.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and schedules for month-end and quarter-end close process
- Prepare audit requests and update quarterly accounting memorandums, and assist with special projects as assigned
- Maintain knowledge with current with US GAAP and SOX requirements to keep compliant with important controls related to accounting
- Building analytics to help correlate revenue with cost to get clear understanding of margin performance
What You Bring to the Role
- BS/BA in Accounting or similar experience with basic understanding of revenue recognition
- 5+ years' experience in accounting, variance analysis working with multi-entity and multi-currency companies
- 2+ years' experience in depth knowledge with SOX controls and staying current with US GAAP knowledge
- 2 years' experience leading a small team and working across multiple time zones
- Accuracy-driven and passionate in keeping your work organized
