We're looking for a Direct Support Specialist to join our team!

Here's what you'll do as a Direct Support Specialist:
- Monitor the comfort and safety of the people we serve while ensuring the medical, nutritional and personal care needs are being met
- Provide training according to the written program plan for people served, covering all aspects of the person's life as assigned and in compliance with company policy and procedure.
- Serve and emotionally support the people we serve in a therapeutic manner using techniques proven to reinforce appropriate individual behavior
- Maintain detailed documentation of each person's medical, social, and program progress
- Provide support and transportation to appropriate leisure time and community activities
- Assist people served in the handling of money and finances
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks as schedule to maintain a neat and clean environment
