MD Ally is a non-emergency 911 navigation solution that enables care pathways from 911 to the broader healthcare ecosystem. Our solutions connect members calling 911 with non-emergency concerns to virtual care instead of transporting them to costly emergency services. We enable partnerships between Public Safety and Payors that expand access to care and improve clinical and financial outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Director, Clinical Operations is responsible for leading and managing the healthcare operations of MD Ally to deliver exceptional patient outcomes while supporting the MD Ally business model. The ideal candidate will have experience building and scaling clinical operations and systems, building out and managing to key performance indicators, and instituting a culture of high-quality care. This person is knowledgeable and experienced in monitoring telehealth requirements and implementing sustainable, updated standards of care in line with regulations.
The role requires someone who can adjust to ever-changing demands, is dynamic in their thinking, and can lead and inspire a team. The Director, Clinical Operations will lead the ClinOps team, partner directly with the Clinical team, and will work cross-functionally to ensure that the company's healthcare operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Operations
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of care delivery standards across all Clinical Operations, and partner cross functionally to ensure high quality care delivery, efficient and scalable operations, effective billing and receivable practices, and partner relations.
Develop and execute strategic operating plans in alignment with broader organizational objectives, including setting and implementing growth plans to open new markets and scale operations while maintaining outcomes.
Monitor key performance indicators per market and organization wide, proactively actioning against opportunities and mitigating risks while providing regular analysis and reports to evaluate team and overall business performance. Partner cross functionally when appropriate to achieve key outcomes.
Provide thought leadership and strategy in staffing, licensing and credentialing, and billing strategies and projections to support innovative, efficient, and quality delivery of care.
Strategically engage with clinical leaders and leadership regarding effective management of corporate practice of medicine requirements, regulatory management and adherence, and clinical practice.
Take primary ownership of successful clinical compliance and accreditation.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare operations, with demonstrated progression of responsibility.
Experience building and managing high performing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver outcomes on time and within budget
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to healthcare operations
Experience with value-based care frameworks; telehealth billing; emergency billing; digital health; and virtual care; all preferred
Ability to deliver high-level communications / presentations / data analysis
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse staff and patient/family population to lead a patient-centered culture
Bonus:
Experience with healthcare start-up companies.
Experience working in and managing an EHR, Athena in particular.
Experience with accreditations, telehealth and/or URAC in particular
Experience working with or in Public Safety departments.
Clinical background, particularly in Behavioral Health
