ELPEDISON, with its two privately-owned power plants in Thisvi (Voiotia) and Thessaloniki, with a total installed capacity of 820 MW, uses natural gas as fuel and ensures a clean and continuous electricity flow, based on a highly environmentally-friendly power generation process.
We are currently looking for a Revenue Assurance Analytics & Control Specialist to be responsible for the operational support of the RA activities from the data and technology point of view by performing analysis and support regarding the RA tools and software. Additionally, the role will be responsible to execute, monitor and sustain RA controls points as well as to monitor the KPIs that the RA team will be responsible for, by doing so the RA will gain the centralized control of all the RA activities.
What will you do:
Controls Execution and KPIs monitoring:
Perform day-to-day control execution.
Analyze the outcomes of the controls and proceed with the needed activities.
Communicate with the distributed teams in order to ensure that the performed controls which are affecting revenue are applied efficiently.
Perform actions to stay between the deviation limits that has been set and additionally follow the KPIs that relate to the controls in order to keep track of the performance.
Monitor the existing KPIs based on the data received from controls outcome.
Review of the performance of the distributed teams regarding the performed activities that affecting revenue based on selected KPIs.
Risk and root cause analysis:
Investigate series of processes carried out to identify the Root Cause of an anomaly.
Perform root cause analysis.
Conduct formal and periodic risk identification workshops for each identified RA risk type (operational, reputational, etc.) with all teams (RA team and distributed teams).
Assess & Resolve RA Issues/ Leakages:
Perform analysis regarding the results of the executed controls as well as the type of the identified violations.
Manage the resolution activities and analysis based on the type of the resolved violation as well as propose improvements in the identified areas that causing anomalies and leakages.
Management Reporting:
Perform monitoring activities to identify if there are anomalies according to the existing controls and at the same time to prove that the applied controls working properly with no anomalies detected.
Use the BI tool to increase automation in monitoring and secure the detection of the anomalies.
Perform the daily, weekly as well as monthly RA reporting at corporate-level.
Perform RA analysis:
Operational support of the RA activities from the data and technology point of view by performing analysis and support regarding the RA tools and software.
Coordination and support of the individual teams regarding the controls and the identification of an anomaly as well as the interpretation of the anomalies.
Perform RA analysis on the generated reports and controls results regarding anomalies as well as to the potential risks that may cause leakages on the processes.
Perform trend analysis as well as make projections and calculation based on historical data and compare them versus the actual data or expectations.
What you need to be successful:
A BSc in Data Analytics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Finance or relevant field.
Master Degree (MSc) in relevant field will be considered an asset.
2-4 years of relevant analytics role in a multinational company or with similar responsibilities.
Very good knowledge in programming languages such as SQL, Python will be considered a plus.
Prior experience in the energy sector will be considered an asset.
Excellent knowledge of English.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power BI, Microsoft Azure platform.
Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
IT/Data management oriented.
Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners
Result-oriented, hands-on approach, with determination and drive to achieve results to move major initiatives.
