Primary responsibilities include implementing all aspects of the program plan successfully including, but not limited to:
· On-site staffing of programs and activities, generally one weekend morning or afternoon/month.
· Vetting program spaces
· Ordering and transporting all program supplies
· Doing on-site registration
· Interacting with participants, getting to understand their needs and connecting them to one another
· Debrief with LGBTQ+ Family Connector and supervisor after each event

JOB DETAILS: This is a limited part-time, up to 5 hours per week, non-exempt position. This position is remote other than when staffing programs. The JCC is a supportive and collaborative work environment and a starting pay rate of [$22.00 – $25.00] per hour. The pay rate offered will ultimately be determined by relevant qualifications, experience, and JCC's internal equity.

Education and Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Community Organization or related field, and 2 years’ experience in event planning or working with families. Must have strong computer and social media skills with fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at the JCC’s discretion to meet minimum criteria.
Skills and Abilities: Knowledge, familiarity and connections with the Boston queer community as it pertains to queer parents and/or to parents with gender questioning children.
· Exceptional interpersonal and active listening skills
· Strong organization and time management skills
· Strong attention to detail and maintaining high quality standards
· Ability to manage situations effectively and diplomatically; ability to adapt to evolving needs and circumstances
· A quick and eager learner who takes initiative
· Works well independently and with others, building/sustaining collaborative working relationships.
Physical Requirements: Able to lift and carry objects weighing 15-40 pounds (boxes of supplies, snacks etc.) Able to sit and kneel if needed. Having transportation is required to transport supplies etc to various locations. This position is remote other than when staffing programs.
