Job Description Summary
The Training Professional is responsible for ensuring the Claims Department has the training support necessary to achieve specified goals and objectives. Develops and maintains training material, user guides, and other job aids. Maintains knowledge management system to house updated business unit products/services, management needs, processes and procedures, and new training methods and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts and facilitates training sessions for newly hired and tenured team
- Research, design, and revise course material to remain industry-current.
- Utilize training development software to create engaging and purposeful material utilizing proven adult learning methodologies.
- Analyze training in line with data points confirming knowledge retention.
- Works with team to formulate teaching outline and determine appropriate instructional methods to ensure training and development needs are met.
- Evaluates overall effectiveness of courses being taught to ensure an effective transfer of skills/knowledge to students.
- Delivers training in multiple formats, i.e., classroom, Microsoft Teams, written briefs.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in developing and conducting training sessions in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrates strong educational content development skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Adaptable to change and able to work in fast paced environment.
- Present a creative, innovative and technologically-savvy mindset
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact comfortably with employees at all levels within the organization.
- Develop and implement training programs for new hires and current employees.
- Work closely with Training Manager and cross functional colleagues to develop learning objectives aligned with business goals
- Create, maintain training materials, manuals and documentation.
- Work with Training Manager to customize training programs to meet client and business needs.
- Provide coaching and support to help employees enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Perform administrative tasks related to training programs, such as coordinating training schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of Travel Insurance claims (policies and processing)
- Experience conducting training in a remote setting
- An individual with adaptability to various learning methods
- Excellent instructional ability.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
