As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will manage all activities in the accounts payable function to ensure timely payments of vendor invoices, maintain accurate accruals and accounts payable reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee reports regarding cash flow; ensure correct payments are made in a timely manner
- Develops guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account records
- Analyzes expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment
- Manage all banking activity, including accurate set up and approval of wire transfers and payments (check, credit card and ACH)
- Prepare monthly accruals and account reconciliations
- Manage invoice review and approval process
- Facilitates correct and timely preparation of budget reports
- Ensures proper recordkeeping for use in tax preparation and periodic audits
- Assist with audit requests for documentation
- Analyze, research and resolve invoice inconsistencies and discrepancies, including reviewing account statements
- Ensures proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records
- Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required
- Maintain access to vendor portals and business systems accounts, including users and invoices
- Assist with insurance billing and document requests
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Five (5) years of accounts payable experience with at least two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent supervisory and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with property management and/or franchising preferred
- Experience with SAGE ERP preferred
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-look up
Compensation:
$90-95,000/year
