Join Zero Labs Automotive as a Remote High Voltage Automotive Technician for our exciting Mafa TX projects! In this role, you will play a critical part in the electrification of classic vehicles, ensuring high safety and performance standards while working with advanced high-voltage systems.
This is a remote position, but candidates must be available for occasional on-site assessments in Mafa, TX as needed. If you're passionate about electric vehicles and possess the technical expertise required, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on high-voltage systems in electric vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices for high-voltage systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and build teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Document work performed and assist in developing best practices for future projects.
- Provide remote technical support and guidance to team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive technology, with a focus on high-voltage systems.
- Certification in High Voltage Systems (e.g., from SAE or equivalent) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and troubleshooting techniques.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely with team members.
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for required travel to Mafa, TX.
