The CSO ICU RN position involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in various ICUs, including Medical, Surgical, Neonatal, and Cardiac units. The CSO ICU RN will be responsible for:- Joining an innovative Central Staffing Office to meet the ever-changing staffing needs across the Critical Care and Cardiovascular program.
- Providing competent nursing care to critically ill patients (newborn – adult) and their families across all 4 ICUs (Medical ICU, Medical/Surgical ICU, Neonatal ICU and Cardiac ICU).
- Delivering family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Working in a fast paced, collaborative environment with many opportunities for learning and career growth with comprehensive orientation to meet individual needs.
- Opportunities to be involved in hospital wide committees and to precept new staff and nursing students.
To qualify, you must have:- A bachelor's degree in nursing.
- A minimum of 1-year, pediatric ICU RN experience required with a wide range of diagnoses preferred.
- Ability to work 50% Day/Night rotations, every third weekend, and flexibility of availability required. Straight nights with every third weekend also available.
