Requirements There is a need for Locums Urology need at Medical City Arlington.On-call physicians don't need to stay on site 24/7. They just need to be able to get to the hospital within 30 minutes of being called so a hotel nearby would be fine.Daily Patient Volume : 8Must have Active DEA License and no Malpractice Monthly Coverage : 27 to 28 days of coverage needed. Accept patients from ED and HCA transfer center. Assume any patients in-house for consult from shift prior and any new medical patients admitted.Support Staff: No mid-level support.Daily Shift Requirement: 24 hour call coverage typical provider is spending 8 hrs. on site on average covering the service.Practice EMR: MeditechReason for Locums: Call coverage practice and/or facilityBoard Certified/Eligibility : YesCertification : Standard Urology procedures in keeping with ED based volumes.Action Plan : Partnering with division growth on recruitment and evaluation of hospitalist program. Community doctors are not able to cover call at this time. Continuing to source additional community providers.Current Urology group UPNT has notified MCA that they will be dropping privileges and will cease taking urology call in 30 days. UPNT and MCA were not able to come to terms for a rate increase for call pay. This coverage is needed prior to next fiscal year due to the level 2 trauma requirement for urology on call 24/7.Max rate of 4500 for 24 hour beeper is what we are looking for.Paws ID #99444Approved Dates: 11/2/2024 - 11/1/2025
