Job Summary:
The Department of Urology at the School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) is seeking an individual to provide day-to-day operational support to Dr. Kristina Penniston, PI of the U24 CAIRIBU Interactions Core in the Department of Urology.
Responsibilities:
Provides research expertise to fundamental and applied scientific research and solves problems in research development and applications to support the advancement of research.
20% Collects and analyzes increasingly complex research data, conducts experiments and interviews, and documents results according to established policies and procedures
10% Conducts literature reviews, prepares reports and materials, co-authors publications, and disseminates information to appropriate entities
10% Trains individuals and groups on equipment operations, research protocols, and techniques within a specialized laboratory or research area
25% Develops and implements increasingly complex research methodologies, procedures, and criteria
10% Reviews and edits protocols to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and consistency
5% Assists in developing grant applications and proposals to secure research funding
15% Prepares materials for disseminating results to advisory boards (progress reports), journals (manuscripts), and meeting and conferences (abstracts, posters)
5% Oversees capture, analysis, visualization, and dissemination of data from digital analytics sources

Expertise with Word Press
Expertise in Excel and Power Point (familiarity with other data visualization platforms is preferred)
Expertise using Canva to generate figures and infographs
Experience with digital analytics
Strong organizational skills (familiarity with developing Sharepoint and One Note organizational structures is preferred)

Full or Part Time: 70% - 100%
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Minimum $60,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
