About The PositionJoin our team as a Gastroenterology Physician providing both inpatient and outpatient care with a flexible call schedule.
Schedule:
- Scheduled clinical hours plus call
- Start date: January 1, 2025
- Ongoing opportunity with holiday coverage options
- Call response time required: 20 minutes
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient and outpatient settings
- Facility requires hospital/surgery center privileges
- Support staff includes RNs, MAs, PA/NPs, and office staff
- Variable patient load and department size
Procedures and Cases:
- Preferred skills include upper and lower GI endoscopy, ERCP, and liver biopsy
- Supervision of advanced practice providers required
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
- Active WI license or IMLC
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Credentialing Requirements:
- Estimated timeframe: 90 days
- Fellowship: 3 years
