- Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.
Responsibilities- Provides clinical leadership and promotes quality patient care by training and leading assigned staff.
- Collaborates with the manager and/or director in developing and revising department quality assurance, performance improvement, policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Serves as a department liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers, and staff.
- Coordinates and oversees the safe delivery of complex, non-routine treatments of patients.
- Performs facility-specific specialty procedures as required.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Associate degree or Diploma from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Supervision/Management knowledge and experience; Clinical/Specialty expertise:
- One year of critical care experience and one (1) year of related supervisory/lead experience in a hospital setting
- Current NM Respiratory Care License
- BLS
- ACLS or National Specialty Certification.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Certification in clinical specialty.
- Three (3) years of related experience.
- AARC Membership; National Specialty Certification.
