Compensation:

Hourly Pay Range: $15.75 - $21.65

Note: Salary can vary depending upon education, experience, or qualifications.

Position Summary:

Senior Administrative Assistant (Classified)

This position has key responsibilities in the Kansas Debt Recovery System (KDRS) and the Kansas Treasury Offset Program (KTOP). This position is responsible for directing the establishment and maintenance of creditor agencies in KDRS and ensuring accuracy of the creditor agency contact data maintained in the system. In addition, this role establishes security for new users at creditor agencies and provides training for secure access to the KDRS system as well as maintaining and removing inactive users.

This role has daily responsibilities in ensuring timely review and distribution of documents related to the statutorily required notice of intent and appeals process for the setoff program and updates of select debtor information within KDRS to ensure data accuracy. This position maintains duties related to daily distribution of all Office of Accounts and Reports (OAR) mail and maintenance of record retention requirements for OAR records.

In addition, this position provides customer service for KDRS users and performs backup duties for other members of the KDRS/KTOP team as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

One year of experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
