POSITION SUMMARY

To provide excellent customer service by ensuring that orders are pulled, packaged, converted, shipped and loaded accurately and free from visible damage or defect. · Pull, pack, stage or convert orders for shipment using a computer-generated work order or verbal instruction from supervisor.

· Package material for shipment according to shipping requirements and/or customer specified instruction. Ensure that all product/shipping labels are legible. Include job and order numbers on order tickets.

· Use computer equipment to generate labels, check stock, input data for shipping status, prepare UPS/FedEx shipments and create shipping manifests.

· Load or unload trucks making sure: truck is chocked before attempting to unload and load product; truck bed is clear of debris, obstruction or defect for safe entry/exit; incoming product is free from damage and coincides with packing list or return authorization; and freight is properly positioned and secured in the truck.

· Responsible for properly securing loads for delivery.

· Accurately complete and maintain all forms and records legibly.

· Perform housekeeping duties to keep work area clean and free of debris.

· Comply with all safety rules and regulations.

· Other duties as assigned.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a daily basis. Experience operating stand up reach truck, cherry picker, order picker and electric pallet jack
