Healthcare in Action (HIA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing medical, behavioral health, addiction, case management, and housing navigation services to unhoused individuals across California. Founded in 2021, we bring healthcare directly to those in need through mobile clinics staffed by healthcare professionals and social workers. Our team meets people where they are—whether in tents, cars, shelters, or temporary housing—building trust and delivering holistic care to improve both health and housing outcomes. HIA’s mission is to offer comprehensive, compassionate support, helping those experiencing homelessness access essential services and achieve sustainable housing.
