Busy Podiatry office in need of a hard working individual able to multi-task in a FAST PACED environment. Familiarity with all insurances including workers compensation and VA would be helpful. Although we are willing to train the right individual EAGER learn. Customer service, phone skills and bilingual a must!

Responsibilities ... • Interview patients and document basic medical history • Organize and schedule appointments • Update and file medical records and insurance reports • Check with patients and type up patients charts • Checking out patients, referrals and insurance authorizations • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms • Must communicate effectively with Doctors and staff

Skills • Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work • Social perceptiveness and service oriented • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organisational and planning skills • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software • Degree in medical assistance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
